The imagiNE Nebraska Tax Incentive Program
The act offers a package of refundable wage and investment credits for economic redevelopment, manufacturing growth and expansion, quality jobs, mega-projects, and modernization. Tax credits are based on the number of Full-Time Equivalent Employees (FTEs) hired and the capital investment made at qualified locations throughout Nebraska. Qualified locations are determined in part by the type of business activity conducted at the location. Incentives may be in the form of wage credits, investment credits, sales and use tax refunds and exemptions, and personal property tax exemptions.
