MICHIGAN INCENTIVES SUMMARY

Michigan Business Development Program (MBDP)
The MBDP is an incentive program from the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF). It provides grants, loans, or other economic development assistance to businesses for highly competitive projects in Michigan that create at least 50 new jobs, 25 new jobs in counties with populations less than 90,000, or 25 new jobs in an "innovation industry." Michigan residents must hold the new jobs.

Jobs Ready Michigan
This program is available from the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF) to companies expanding or relocating to Michigan. The program is flexible and responsive to the need of companies and address the costs to recruit and train individuals entering high-wage, high-skill, or high demand employment positions.

Michigan New Jobs Training Program (MNJTP)
Provides flexible funding to meet various employee training and development needs customized to the needs of business. MNJTP allows community colleges to provide free training for employers that create new jobs and/or expand operation in Michigan.
